Who we are and how we help you
CHS Healthcare helps people to find the right care at the right time.
Our experienced care guidance and support advisors work closely with people to explore and navigate suitable care options, including home care packages and care home placements.
When you partner with CHS Healthcare, you’ll be introduced to self‑funding families and individuals who have already been thoughtfully matched to your care home or home care service. This means that enquiries are relevant, realistic and aligned with what you offer.
Trusted by families and care providers nationwide
With over 30 years of experience, CHS Healthcare has supported more than 50,300 people and families across the UK in finding appropriate care. In the past 12 months alone, we’ve helped over 3,000 individuals and families navigate their care options, often during challenging or time sensitive situations.
Today, we work with a national network of trusted, CQC‑regulated care homes and home care agencies committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care.
Who we partner with
We partner with care providers who share our commitment to safe, high‑quality and person‑centred care. To join our network, you must be:
- A CQC‑regulated care home
- A CQC‑regulated home care agency
- Providing personalised, high‑quality support
- Open to referrals from self‑funding or mixed‑funding families
Our network is built around providers who value clear communication, careful matching and collaborative working, helping achieve the best outcomes for individuals and families.
Why partner with us
When you partner with CHS Healthcare, you join a national network of CQC‑regulated care homes and home care agencies across the UK. Our role is to support you by introducing families whose needs have already been carefully matched to your service, so conversations start with clarity and purpose.
Every referral we share is based on detailed insight into the individual’s needs, preferences and circumstances, helping reduce inappropriate enquiries and saving you time.
Thoughtfully matched referrals
Before introducing a family to your service, our care guidance advisors carry out in‑depth discussions to understand their care needs, funding position and personal circumstances. This means that enquiries are relevant, realistic and aligned with what you offer.
Coordinated introductions and viewings
We manage introductions and viewings in a way that supports both families and providers. Families are prepared and informed in advance, allowing your care home or service to be viewed with the right expectations in place.
Clear funding conversations
We help families understand funding requirements and next steps before placement, reducing uncertainty and helping avoid delays or misunderstandings later in the process.
Ongoing support around placement
Our involvement doesn’t end with an introduction. We stay involved as decisions are made, help get arrangements in place and remain on hand if anything needs to be reviewed or adapted.
Practical reassurance for providers
Where a placement doesn’t work out, we offer agreed early termination rebates. In some circumstances, we can also support families with short‑term options, such as respite, to help stabilise care arrangements.
What families and providers say
Testimonials
Mira and Enid
"Amazingly efficient service. Saved me so much time and effort finding a care home for my mum. My care liaison advisor was brilliant, they even checked the type of food the homes serve as the menu on one of the websites I’d previously looked at didn’t appear to be suitable. My mum was moved into one of the homes within 3 weeks of completing the online form."
George and Paul
"My care liaison advisor was very helpful and professional, answered any questions and concerns in a timely manner and made me feel comfortable about getting care for my Dad. Professional from start to finish and my Dad was very happy with all the team he met."
How our referral process works
1. Enquiries are received and triaged
Families and professionals contact CHS Healthcare seeking guidance on care options. Each enquiry is triaged by an experienced care guidance and support advisor to confirm their care needs, funding position and urgency before any provider is approached.
2. Needs are explored in detail
A structured discussion is carried out to understand clinical requirements, routines, preferences, risks and personal circumstances. This ensures referrals are appropriate and realistic.
3. Enquiries are managed centrally
Each person is managed through our system, allowing progress, communication and next steps to be tracked clearly.
4. A targeted shortlist is created
Only providers that can genuinely meet the individual’s needs are shortlisted. Referrals are selective and purposeful, avoiding unsuitable or speculative enquiries.
5. Introductions and viewings are coordinated
Suitable providers are contacted directly. Introductions, visits or assessments are arranged with families who understand what the service offers and what care involves.
6. Support continues through placement
CHS Healthcare remains involved as decisions are made, supporting communication and helping placements progress smoothly. Where required, we stay engaged after placement to support stability and transitions.
FAQs
Below are answers to common questions about joining the CHS Healthcare provider network.
1. How does CHS identify and match people to my care home or home care agency?
Our care guidance and support advisors carry out detailed discussions with individuals and families to understand their care needs, preferences, risks, timescales and funding position. Based on this information, we shortlist providers who can realistically meet those requirements. Referrals are shared selectively, not broadly distributed, to ensure alignment and relevance.
2. What costs are involved in joining the CHS Healthcare network?
There are no upfront costs to join our network. Fees are only payable when an individual chooses your service following a successful placement.
3. What happens if a care placement doesn’t proceed or ends early?
Where a placement doesn’t go ahead or ends earlier than expected, early termination rebates apply in line with our agreed terms. This helps reduce risk for providers where arrangements don’t work out.
4. Do individuals or families pay for CHS Healthcare’s service?
No. Our care guidance and support service is free for individuals and families. They engage with CHS Healthcare for independent guidance and practical support, which helps ensure they approach providers informed and prepared.
